As I sit here and the weather starts to get cold again,  I thought I would think about things that are warm.   Quilts and the beach!  This quilt I made as a gift for a house at the Cape.

Well, Daisy needed a quilt, too.   This quilt was free motioned quilted.  I stitched bones throughout the quilt.  
  

Memory quilt to wrap you in their love.

Last summer, I was honored when a friend asked me to make a memory quilt out of t-shirts from her father who had recently pasted.   Now their family can be wrapped in his love when they sit on the couch.

A little about me....So my family has been telling me to share pictures of the quilts I have created, so this is the start.  I have been sewing on my own since I was 11 years old, too many years to count.   First, it was clothes for my self, then when I had my boys, I had to make them clothes too.  I venture out into draperies, and have made window treatments for my last 2 homes.   And within the last 10 years, it's been quilts.   I have them pictured on Pintrest.  I have even sold some of my quilts.  I just find it relaxing. And I am really enjoying doing the quilting myself on a longarm machine I rent time on.
